Over the years, the Association assisted countless foreign citizens in projects financed and implemented in collaboration with the Region, the Municipality and other third sector bodies. Among the many foreign citizens assisted, there are also several young people whom the Association supported when entering Italy up until they entered the world of work.

Mario Porcelli
Manager Director San Martino
Mario Porcelli
Mario graduated in Philosophy in 1979 from the Catholic University with a thesis in Work Psychology.
He is the author of many publications on work psychology and in particular on the interview technique.
As a consultant and a member of Gabriella Borsatti’s group, he worked in Hay Italiana on issues related to the evaluation system in the organization, with particular attention to the evaluation of the potential, the performance and the analysis of the organizational climate.
Furthermore, he collaborated with the Human Resources Departments of industrial companies, in particular in the chemical and oil sector such as: ENI Group, Total, 3M, and Montedison.
From 1991 to 1998 he held the position of Human Resources Director of the European Vynils Corporation Italy, taking on, among other things, responsibility for managing the resources of an international team with activities in Italy, England and Germany.
From October 1998 to December 2016 he was appointed as the Human Resources Director and member of the Board of Directors of the SAATI Group, an Italian multinational that operates in China, the United States, Korea, India and several European countries, in the field of composite materials and industrial technical fabrics.
Since May 2018 he has been President of the San Martino Association in which San Martino Servizi deals with job orientation and management of the integration processes of third-country nationals.
Margherita Vitali

Margherita Vitali
After Graduating in Jurisprudence in 2012 from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Margherita passed the bar and became a lawyer in 2015.
From 2012 till 2017, she worked as a lawyer at Studio Legale Penalisti Associati Zanconi & Zingari, where she took care of many problems related to the penal law, with a particular attention to themes related to the social, fiscal, medical responsibility and safety and security at the place of work.
Throughout her work at the Studio, Margherita consolidated her capacities for mediation and negotiations, and listening to the client, as a naturale way to keep the problems proportionate and in context, in order to solve them faster.
These competences were fondamental also for her role that she occupies since 2018 at San Martino. In her new position, she in charge of the research and selection of personnel, using a specific methodology for managing cultural differences for the foreign worker.
Vera Di Domenicantonio

Vera Di Domenicantonio
Vera graduated in philosophy from the Università degli Studi di Padova in 2014.
In 2018, she enrolled for a Master diploma in human resources at the 24 ore Business School, which was concluded with a 6 months training at the Area Selezione di ATM Azienda Trasporti Milanesi S.p.A.
From october 2018 until july 2023, she was in charge of the research and selection of domestic personnel in Santa Rosa assistenza Franchising. In the offices of Trezzo sull’Adda, she was able to grow her capacities of the research and selection of personnel, the management of domestic workers and the mode of implementation with the maximum contingency that may be verified by the initial analysis of the wealth, and the cessation of the work relationship.
As of July 2023, she joined San Martino Servizi S.R.L., where she is in charge of the research and selection of personnel.
Antonio Vitale

Antonio Vitale
Son of an italian father and an american mother, Antonio find himself dealing with 2 different cultures from an early age.
His university path led him to further delve into the theme of cultural differences: in fact, he moved to Venice where he studied oriental language and literature (Arabic and Persian) at Ca’ Foscari. In 2017 he spent an exchange period at the Bourgiba Institute in Tunis.
Culture and encounter are now the common thread in Antonio’s story: after his studies, he joined in 2019 the Monserrate Foundation in Milan as a teacher of Italian L2, within the Polo Start project of Milan 9. This project was born with the objective of improving the integration of minors from third countries and avoiding school dropout.
He arrived in San Martino in 2020 as an intern and initially managed a project that the focus on the domestic training of fragile and vulnerable women.
Since 2022 he has worked permanently in San Martino dealing with personnel research and selection, with particular attention to the profiles to be included in the field of business services and catering services.
At the same time he carried out the activity of Professional Orientator within funded projects, in collaboration with the AVSI Foundation. Through continuous training he enrolled in the course for Professional Orientators provided by Asnor, in order to refine the techniques and methodologies of the profession.

Marina Levi

Marina Levi
Marina graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Milan, and then obtained further linguistic specializations at the Universities of Lausanne and Grenoble.
After some teaching experiences at qualified linguistic high schools and professional training institutions, in 1991 Marina joined San Martino and therefore actively participated in the foundation and growth of the Association.
In 1993 she became Head of the Business Work Desk, aimed at professional and training orientation and accompaniment in the employment placement of non-EU citizens with medium-high level profiles.
She collaborated in the implementation of numerous projects financed by European Funds for the Integration of Third Countries (EIF) and the Ministry of Interior, with local authorities, and banking foundations; she participated in the coordination tables promoted by the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Milan.
From 2010 to 2016 she also collaborated with the Monserrate Foundation, an organization that in Italy operates mainly for the benefit of Chinese migrants, where she coordinated activities and services aimed at promoting the inclusion processes of foreign minors and families, actively collaborating with the educational and school system and health and social care of Milan and its province.
As Head of the Document Desk of the San Martino Association, for many years she has been involved in orientation and accompaniment for carrying out all the bureaucratic procedures for foreign citizens.
Marina is accredited at the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters and at the Sportello Unico of the Prefecture of Milan; she collaborates regularly with the network of local, public and private services.
Mario Corbella

After obtaining his high school diploma at the Liceo Peano di Cinisello Balsamo in 1992, Mario continued his studies at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmaceutics of the National University of Milan.
In 1997, he joined the Association C.d.S. San Martino as responsible for the infrastructure and for taking care of the different organizational aspects related to the activities of hospitality and orientation for foreign citizens, all within the framework of the convention with the network of social services for adults of the municipality of Milan – Labor mediation centre.
In the framework of this activity, Mario has developed his own capacities for assistance, attention to others, analysis of the situation and resolution of problems.
Starting in 2008, Mario became the administrative manager of the “”Work Desk”” project, a project in agreement with the municipality of Milan- Family Policies Sector. In this atmosphere, his skills in the management of human resources, particularly for the domestic work, were developed: the management of the work contract, the administration and management of personnel, the advantages of contributions and taxes, the relationships with the Institutions.
After 2017 at San Martino Servizi, Mario became responsible for the administration and management of domestic personnel, for the cost of family assistance, and all aspects related to the contracting of domestic collaborators from the recruitment until the end of the work contract.

Maria Panniati

Maria Panniati
Maria obtained her Diploma of Interpreter and Translator at the former Institut for Interpreters and Translators of Florence, now the “Carlo Bo” Institut of studies for Linguistic Mediators, and subsequently the Certificate of International Relations at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley – MA – USA, holding an Italian lectureship at the same university.
From 1991 to 1999 Maria worked in Milan in the communications field, first for Principe Congress Service and later in IMC, dealing with marketing communications, managing clients portfolio for the organization of incentive trips, corporate events, meetings, conventions and conferences.
Subsequently she had numerous experiences related, albeit in different fields, to training and organisation, easily adapting to the different contexts encountered in over fifteen years of life abroad, between Greece and Egypt. These experiences have allowed her to gain in-depth knowledge and experience first-hand the typical problems of expatriates.
The very diverse international environments in which Maria operated have also contributed to developing relational skills with subjects of different origins, allowing her to acquire flexibility, adaptability and the ability to enhance the positive.
In San Martino Maria deals in particular with services to businesses and universities for the management of expatriates, documentary procedures for foreign citizens and collaborates with the Search and Selection service for the selection of foreign personnel.

Martina Pignatelli

Martina Pignatelli
Laureata in Sociologia presso l’Università di Milano Bicocca nel 2018, decide di proseguire il suo percorso di studi con una specializzazione magistrale in Politiche per la Cooperazione Internazionale allo Sviluppo presso l’Università Cattolica di Milano.
Grazie al Charity Work Program dell’Università Cattolica, ha la possibilità di svolgere un’esperienza di volontariato a Gerusalemme e in Palestina, che avrà un grande impatto sulle sue aspirazioni future. A seguito di altre esperienze presso ONG in India e a Milano, decide di iscriversi al Master in Diritto delle Migrazioni dell’Università di Bergamo – conseguito ad aprile 2022 – che le permette di iniziare il suo percorso lavorativo in ambito immigrazione per una grande multinazionale a Milano.
Inizia così a interfacciarsi quotidianamente con le tematiche immigratorie che coinvolgono i lavoratori stranieri e le loro famiglie, entrando nel vivo dei processi procedurali e documentali che regolano la disciplina dell’immigrazione in Italia.
Dopo due anni e mezzo, decide di tornare nel mondo no profit e a maggio 2024 approda in San Martino come Immigration Expert. Con il resto della squadra, assiste aziende, studenti e Università con le numerose pratiche burocratiche necessarie per il soggiorno in Italia di cittadini UE ed Extra-UE.
